EC's Bio

Well, this is me,
Eric Christopher Skiles.

I am currently the Artistic Director and Associate Professor of Theatre at Kingwood College in North-East Houston.  I also serve as the Chair of Visual and Performing Arts.

I'm an avid reader, computer geek, gardener, and uncle!

I received my Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting and Directing from Texas Tech University in 2003.

I taught K-12 fine arts at Sands Consolidated ISD in Ackerly, Texas from 1994 to 2000.  I taught middle school choir in Lamesa from 1993 to 1994.

My baccalaureate degree in Vocal Music Education came from Tech in 1993. I attended Permian High School in Odessa. 

I've lived in Dallas (actually Richardson),
El Paso, Odessa, Lubbock, Lamesa, and Kingwood, Texas.

I was born on a US Naval Base in Yokosuka, Japan.
